New Crafting System

Greetings, brave adventurers of Retronia!

The long-awaited Crafting System has arrived, bringing a whole new way to evolve your equipment and skills.
Here’s what’s coming with the next server save:

• Access Quest – speak with NPC Tharold in Edron.
• New skill: Crafting – gain experience by forging, dismantling, or ascending your items.
• Item Ascension – upgrade your equipment to new heights, with a chance of failure and risk of breaking.
• Remote Access – use a special item from the Game Store to open the Crafting interface from anywhere.
• Guaranteed Experience – even failed attempts grant skill XP, but be mindful of your materials!

📯 THE CALL OF ZARHAMA

When the echo fades and even the light hesitates to move forward, you've stepped into Zarhama.

For centuries, the island lay shrouded in myth, its lands scorched by wars and soaked in legends. The final teasers showed only fragments of what lies ahead... now the wait is over.

In the Gray MountainsKing Edmund II leads the last resistance while ancient beings stir once again, claiming every stone and drop of blood across the cursed isle. The cracks of Thar’Vul volcano breathe fire and fury, and from the darkest shadows, horrors shaped by the abyss await only the boldest to cross the sea of no return.

This is no ordinary land. This is a trial.
This is Zarhama.

⚠️ Warning: Garrick, in Northport, can take you to Zarhama... but don’t expect an easy way back. The place he’ll leave you at is a point of no return. The island doesn't welcome strangers. Whispers say King Edmund himself knows ancient tales of a possible exit — fragmented rumors kept as royal secrets. Some speak of old paths... others of faces lost in the northern mist.
Maybe there’s a way back.
Maybe it’s just a lie to make the fear easier to carry.

We are pleased to announce that the Retronia family is growing and maturing! GM Algorim and CM Diptrath are now officially part of the team!
Both are veteran players who have been with the server since its early days, nearly two years of history! They have always shown commitment, maturity, and a genuine passion for the world we’ve built together.
From now on, they join the Staff as representatives with the perspective of those who truly live Retronia from within the game. Their presence will bring even more balance between the player experience and the responsibility of keeping our server strong, fair, and fun for everyone.

New Item Rarity Update: Amulets, Rings & More!

Dear players,

Starting with the next Server Save, amulets and rings will officially become part of the Item Rarity System!
Legendary amulets from Tibia can now be obtained!
These items have been strategically distributed as loot among both regular and elite creatures.
Additionally, several improvements and fixes have been implemented — read below for details:

📜 [Item Rarity Update] – Set Bonus: Max Health/Mana

The minimum requirement to activate the set bonus is now: helmet, armor, legs, and boots equipped.


📜 [Minor Improvements and Fixes] – Rare Backpacks, Movement Speed, and Xodet

  • Backpacks and pouches with rarity now display their saved cap value when you use the look command
  • Movement Speed attribute is now correctly registered on boots
  • Backpack color delivered by Xodet is now correctly set according to the buyer's city when purchasing blank rune or manafluid BPs
  • Fixed the behavior of NPC Rashid who bought quivers equipped on the character
  • Arcane Wand's ML has been adjusted according to its Tier
  • Ogre Gruntz is now immune to fire

Teaser: Hellspawns of Zarhama

On the forgotten island of Zarhama, an old soldier, forsaken even by the gods,  drags his final days whispering stories no one dares to write down. The most feared among them tells of an expedition sent decades ago into the cursed eastern lands, where the dormant volcano of Thar’Vul rests like an open wound upon the world.

It is said that King Edmund II, intoxicated by an ancient map stained with blood and promises, sent his finest men in search of buried treasures,  gold, pagan relics, and artifacts from a time before the crown itself. But beneath the volcano’s skin of ash, there were no riches. There were sentinels.

Creatures forged in the bowels of hell itself, the Hellspawns, rose from cracks in the earth like flaming shadows, with burning eyes and flesh split by lava and hatred. They did not strike out of hunger, but by right. That land was theirs. And blood was the toll.

One by one, the warriors fell, their souls dragged into the abyss from which those beasts had emerged. Only one soldier returned.

"No gold is worth the price of a soul," he says, voice broken, eyes dry and hollow as he stares into the flames. "And hell... hell never forgets what belongs to it."

Since then, no man, beast, or god has dared set foot in the east of Zarhama.

New Attributes, Rebalancing and Improvements

Dear players,

Stay tuned for the updates and adjustments coming with the next Server Save!

Daily Reward System
We've updated how Mana Points bonuses from the store work:

  • Fixed 7-day duration: When purchasing a +100% or +200% bonus, it now lasts for 7 calendar days from the time of purchase.

  • Bonus persistence: The bonus remains active even if your weekly streak resets, as long as you don't miss a day.

  • Level adjustments: There is no longer a level cap for Mana Points calculations or for bonus pricing. Characters above level 100 will continue receiving benefits based on their actual level.

These changes provide more control over bonus duration and reward high-level players. Plan your purchases and maintain your daily streak to enjoy the full bonus!

Increased Magic

  • The "Increased Magic" random bonus can now only appear on wands, preventing other equipment from having this attribute.

Items with Additional Properties

  • A new property category was added: Melee Fighting (Axe, Club, Fist, and Sword).
    The following items now have properties:
    Horned Helmet (+4 Melee), Dragon Scale Helmet (+4 ML), Golden Helmet (4% Physical), Hat of the Mad (+4 ML), Amazon Helmet (+4 Distance), Warrior Helmet (+2 Melee), MPA (30% Mana Drain), Amazon Armor (+3 Distance), Knight Armor (+2 Melee), Blue Robe (+2 ML), Ranger’s Cloak (+1 Distance), Dragon Scale Legs (+4 Distance), Golden Legs (+3 ML), Knight Legs (+2 Melee), Golden Boots (+4 ML), Blessed Shield (+4 Shielding), Great Shield (4% Fire), MMS (30% Life Drain), Demon Shield (3% Fire), Tempest Shield (+3 ML), Vampire Shield (3% Life Drain), Amazon Shield (+30 Speed).

  • Wands will have Magic Level as a property based on their Tier.

  • Magic Level bonuses from equipment now only affect mage vocations.

These changes reinforce class identity and vocation roles.

Max Health and Max Mana Set Bonus
We’ve introduced a new “set bonus” system for MAX Health and MAX Mana:

  • When a character equips all five pieces (Helmet, Armor, Legs, Boots, and Shield) with the MAX Health or MAX Mana attribute, they receive an additional bonus to their max HP or MP.

  • The bonus value is the total Tier sum of the equipped items.
    Example: If your pieces are Tier 1, 3, 3, 3, and 4, the total is 14 – so you receive +14% to max health or mana.

  • The bonus activates only when the full set is equipped, and it’s removed immediately if any piece is unequipped.

This bonus adds strategic importance to this attribute in combat planning.

New Attribute: Thornmail
A new bonus called Thornmail has been added to the random attribute system. It can appear on Helmets, Armors, Legs, Boots, and Shields:

  • When the character takes physical damage, a portion of it is reflected back to the attacker.

  • The reflected percentage is the sum of Thornmail values across all equipped items.
    Example: If your items add up to "Thornmail 15%", the attacker takes 15% of the damage they dealt.

  • Only Knights and Elite Knights can activate this effect.

  • It applies to all sources of physical damage.

Magic Light Wand and Spell Wands

  • Magic Light Wands will now cost 1.2k at the Djinn NPC.

  • Spell Wands will last for 250 minutes.

  • Yellow Wands recharge costs 6k; other colors cost 3k.

  • Wands can be recharged at any time, even if they’re not fully used.

These changes are aimed at balancing the server's economy, considering that back in early Tibia, 120 gold was a significant recurring expense.

Teaser: In the Shadows of Zarhama

Hidden within forgotten lands, Zarhama is a forbidden whisper in the bowels of the world. A silent island conceals its entrance — a gateway disguised by the earth itself.

In Zarhama, the air grows heavy. Warmth fades. Footsteps vanish, as if even the echo fears to awaken what lies beneath.

Then everything changes.

In the depths of Zarhama, there is no ground — only darkness. Stalactites like fangs. Eyes burning in the void. Creatures slithering through the shadows, trapped between worlds, guarding the impossible.

And far below, where even hope cannot survive, lurk unimaginable horrors — demons shaped by the abyss, beings that defy all sanity.

Zarhama is not just an island. It is a crack in reality. An invitation to the inhospitable.
