• Improved monster search in the Bestiary

NPC Trade

• Keys, Antidote Rune (Rookgaard), vial flasks, and parcels can now be traded properly

Combat and Balancing

• Attribute activation messages are now optimized and more informative

• Implemented skill-based formulas for critical hits, crushing blow, and bleeding

Loot from Elite monsters with clone ability (copycat) is now preserved

Blessings and Death

• Blessing prices now scale with character level:
  Up to level 20: each bless costs 2,000
  Level 21 to 120: each bless = (Level × 200) - 2,000
  Level 121 and above: each bless = (Level × 100) + 10,000

Lag Protection System

• The server monitors the player’s average ping and will activate protection mode if it remains above 200ms for 5 seconds. In this mode, creatures will not attack the player directly. The player exits protection mode once their ping stabilizes for at least 3 seconds. This only works in PVE and when in a party, excluding players involved in PVP outside of their party.

• Automatic compensation added for deaths indirectly caused while in lag protection mode

Economy and Items

• Added:

  • Soulbound Refunder – partially refunds Store items, sold by NPC Alexander

  • Gold Converter – auto-converts coins in and out of the Gold Pouch, sold by any bank NPC

  • Store-bought backpacks, Gold Pouch, and Stone Pouch may come with rarity and bonus effects

  • Gold will now remain inside the Gold Pouch when selling items, traveling, etc.

  • Improved rare bug protection for lost gold from the Gold Pouch

  • New items added to Elite creatures

  • Spell wands and magic light wands are no longer boosted in Elite creature loot

  • Spell wands now last 240 minutes and cost 10K to recharge via NPC Alexander

Equipment and Weapons

• Fixed issues when moving rare shields between empty hands

• Quiver adjustments:

  • Can now be equipped properly in the correct slot

  • Auto-shoots ammo from the ammo slot

  • Critical hit checks now properly consider vocation and equipped weapons

NPCs and Trading

• Rashid now buys a wider variety of items

• Fixed item removal logic when selling to NPCs

• Empty vials (flasks) can now be sold directly via the Trade window

• Improved protection to prevent NPCs from buying equipped rare items by mistake

Exploration and Quality of Life

• Increased travel discount with the Postman

• Improved layout saving when logging out in beds and other scenarios

Technical Fixes

• Improved Scroll of Light behavior

• Fixed misbehavior in Store Inbox when moving items improperly

• Improved detection of new characters for Home Depot

• Improved Elite Creature summoning in parties

We inform you that, during today's Server Save, at 06:00 BRT, we will be performing a host migration to a new infrastructure. This change aims to offer more stability, security and performance, ensuring an even better gaming experience for everyone.
Due to this process, the Server Save will be extended for up to 2 hours.
Important: a complete cleaning of the map will be performed. Therefore, we advise you to collect all items left on the ground before the Server Save, to avoid any risk of loss.

Over the past few months, several improvements and adjustments have been made based on community feedback and our internal analysis. These changes have been rolled out and are now in production on the server! Check out what has been updated:

Break down magical items to extract Shards (rarity fragments) and Gems (attribute essence).
But beware: the process requires gold... and not everything is always recovered.

With fragments in hand, you’ll be able to raise the rarity of your equipment.
The higher the Tier, the greater the risk... and the higher the cost.
Ascension demands rare resources, sacrifices of identical items, and a minimum level in the new Crafting skill.

Tired of a specific attribute? Swap it for another using the power of arcane alchemy.
Channel Gems and test your luck.

Date: 14th day of the Crescent Moon, Year 734 of the Kingdom

Today I received in my modest shop a visitor like few I have seen in my life. A hooded man, dressed in worn royal robes and boots worn by the road. His name was Sir Bertraand the Royal Scout, I said. His gaze was somber, marked by something more than weariness... perhaps the weight of the horrors he had witnessed.
He came in search of ammunition for his crossbow - reinforced arrows, suitable for piercing armor or thick-leather monsters. While I weighed the pieces and prepared the leather bag, I offered him a hot coffee. He accepted with a slight nod, and slowly, between sips and sighs, he began to speak.
He told me of a cave in the north of Edron, where, according to his accounts, an entire nest of Dragon Lords hides. He said he smelled sulfur before he even saw the entrance... A dark omen for any living soul. A real danger, according to him, one that threatens us all if ignored.
But it didn't stop there.
He also shared rumors about a Cyclops camp that had recently arrived by sea. The ship docked on the northeast coast of Edron, and now the giants are setting up tents and makeshift towers. No one knows what they're after, but their presence is anything but peaceful.
The worst, however, was yet to come. Bertraand told me about his last mission, a reconnaissance mission in Fibula. There, in the depths of the cursed land, he saw with his own eyes the creatures we call Beholders. Floating monsters with eyes all over their bodies and arcane power coming from the depths of hell.
He found it strange, and rightly so. The true Gates of Hell are miles away, in Ab'Dendriel. What could these abominations be doing so far from their origin? He believes that something or someone is summoning them... or perhaps the gates are multiplying.
In closing, he mentioned ongoing investigations beneath the sands of the city of Darashia. An ancient catacomb has been discovered, no one knows who built it. Sir Bertraand said only that there are ancient symbols, voices in the walls... and the undead.
Night fell as he left, his silhouette disappearing into the mist. I felt a strange uneasiness in my chest.
If even half of what this man says is true... dark times are coming.
I will replenish my stockpile. And perhaps, for the first time, I will start saving some arrows for myself.

n the dusty alleys of Ankrahmun, amid the scent of spices and the distant chanting of merchants, sat Melchior the blind. His eyes had never seen the world, but his ears held tales that would make even the bravest tremble. One scorching afternoon, a wanderer, covered in dust and scars, sat down beside him and began to speak.
He told of disgraced Heroes, who once brandished swords for justice but now enslaved dwarves from an old abandoned mine in the cold hills of Cormaya, forcing them to build a dark castle in the icy north of Edron. Melchior listened intently, his lips pursed and his brow furrowed.
But that was not all. The stranger also spoke of Drefia, a cursed and forgotten land, where lies a cemetery desecrated by the Banshees, and where shadows whisper in forbidden tongues. There, in the crypts of stone and blood, he found a sect of necromancers, involved in vile rituals, who sought to revive ancient demons, sealed away for ages.
After many hours and sips of cheap mead, the wanderer stared blankly at the horizon and revealed the latest of his discoveries: a lost tomb, sealed in the depths where only the Ancient Scarabs reign. He said that the entrance had been blocked by forces beyond the comprehension of men, but that behind it lay something... too ancient to be named.
Melchior said nothing. He just smiled. For, even blind, he saw more than anyone.

Unfortunately, today another power outage occurred on the server host, causing not only Retronia, but others to lose their connection.
Today's problem had part of the same reason as the one that happened on 04/04 that we announced here: 🧾│notes⁠ 

The connection to the Retronia host has been reestablished and the server is now back online much faster than last time!
Unfortunately, all progress made between the 6am server save and the 8:34am server crash has been lost. Due to this power outage on the host, our system is unable to save game progress.

Unfortunately, all progress made between the 6:00 AM server save and the server crash at 7:50 AM has been lost. This was due to a power outage at the host, which made it impossible to save data during that period.
