Rarity defines how many random attribute slots an item can have. Tier defines the strength of each rolled attribute.
In short:
Higher rarity = more attribute slots.
Higher tier = stronger attribute values.
|
Understanding Level Requirements:
Each rarity and tier combination has a minimum level requirement.
Attributes remain inactive until the required level is reached.
Tier Progression:
Higher tiers demand higher character levels.
This ensures progression balance and prevents early power spikes.
Activation Rule:
If your character does not meet the required level, rolled attributes remain disabled.
|
Understanding rarity representation:
Rarity can be visually represented through item borders in the Retronia Client under Options > Interface.
These visual styles are purely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay formulas.
Choosing your border style:
Players can choose between three visual models: Minimal, Normal, and Full.
The Attribute Tier:
Attributes are divided into four Tiers (1 to 4). The Tier determines the strength of the rolled value for that attribute.
